Went in for a curly style haircut since I have naturally wavy/curly hair. I showed the stylist the pictures of the hair style I wanted and she told me she could do it. Instead, she ended up giving me the standard stereotypical Korean bowl cut and proceeded to straighten my hair when I explicitly said I wanted a curly haircut. Ended up paying 100+ for a awful cookie cutter cut that you could get from any local shop for 25 bucks.

The first thing imma say is that Jackie is an absolute g. Ssooniestyle is the first salon I have ever been to, so I was a little on edge when I first went for my consultation. Jackie helped me through the process and answered all of my questions in as much detail as possible. I booked an appointment for the following day and had a great time the entire day – I have absolutely nothing to complain about. She worked on my hair alongside Henry, and they both did a fantastic job explaining each step to me as we went about the bleaching process. Jackie also cut and layered/styled my hair a bit so that it looked less like Edna’s bob cut (from The Incredibles) and more like an actual hairstyle. I’m itching to go back in again for another appointment, lol.

Just got a mens haircut here, had a pretty bad experience with the lady who cut my hair. I told her exactly what I wanted and she did something on her own which didn’t resemble anything to what I asked. And instead of taking her time to ask how it was or go over she rushed to the next person that was there for a haircut. Terrible service, $65 not worth the haircut and will not be coming back.

This is the place to go for lightening, and fun colors! I also get my hair styled here because a lot of the stylists understand the kpop style! Very flattering for an Asian face ! Feel like a kpop star walking out , also a lot of kpop stars do get their hair done here they have a wall of autographs!
